I read a book once which talked about how to become a good communicator, and the answer was by being a good listener. I totally agree that a good listener is better than a good talker in a social situation. In this essay I am going to present my point and explore the idea.
Firstly, to manage a social situation, you need to understand the situation and the best way to understand the situation is to listen carefully. Then, try to look at a problem from a different perspective, which is a good way to solve it.Secondly, most of the time problems are created because of the words. It is often clever to be silent in a social situation, rather than to speak. Rather than a roar, an act of kindness is needed in social situations, which will elevate your personality.Furthermore, in some situations and especially in social situations, silence means power. It is recommended that in a business meeting, the main person or a chair person should speak at last, so that they can listen to all the opinions of people.In conclusion, a social situation, which can be good or bad, requires good communication to solve it and the way to be a good communicator is to listen well.
