Some people think that human needs for farmland, housing and industry are more important than saving land for endangered animals. To what extent do you agree with this statement?
Human development happened when people started agriculture. Nowadays, some people think that human needs for farmland, housing and industry are more important than saving land for endangered animals, which is a selfish way of thinking. I completely disagree with this statement. First and foremost, animals have the right to live, and humans do not have the right to destroy them. This planet is home to all the animals. This is not our backyard, where we are doing cleaning. Secondly, it will destroy the environment, which is not a good thing. Currently, there are a lot of disasters faced by humans, due to the destruction of the environment. We are seeing a lot of natural disasters all around the world. Furthermore, using the land for only farming destroys our biodiversity, which will eventually lead to destruction of the land. When the productivity of land is destroyed, we are the ones that are going to suffer. We may lose medical herbs, and important animals that help us grow crops...
